Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I hire zastudio instead of a full-time designer?

Hiring a full-time designer can be a significant commitment, both in terms of salary and time. By working with zastudio, you have the flexibility to get high-quality design when you need it without the long-term overhead. You’re not tied down to full-time costs, and you only pay for the work you need, when you need it.

Is it expensive to work with you?

Hiring a designer is an investment in your brand’s identity and success. At zastudio, design services are tailored to create unique, high-quality solutions that set your brand apart. Each project is crafted with creativity, and attention to detail, ensuring a distinctive result that aligns with your vision. If you value originality and craftsmanship, zastudio is the right choice.

Who will be handling my designs at zastudio?

zastudio is run by Alex, so you’ll be working directly with the designer behind the studio. For specific projects that require specialised skills, such as coding, we collaborate with a select network of designers to ensure top quality.

What tools do you use for design work?

I’ve had extensive experience using the Adobe Suite, but in recent years, I’ve transitioned to the Affinity Suite. I’ve also used other design software like Clip Studio Pro and QuarkXPress, depending on the project’s needs. While I use a variety of tools, I believe that great design isn’t about the software - it’s about the creativity and skill behind it.

Is there any type of design work zastudio doesn’t cover?

While we cover a wide range of design services, zastudio does not specialise in 3D modeling, video, animated graphics, or large-scale print projects like books or magazines. If you’re unsure whether your request fits, feel free to ask!

What is your typical design process?

My process starts with understanding your brand, your audience, and your goals. After our initial discussion, I’ll provide a concept based on your vision. Together, we’ll refine it through revisions, with a clear limit set upfront to ensure efficiency. The focus is on creating a final design that resonates with your brand’s identity.

How do revisions work?

After I deliver the initial design, you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback, and I’ll revise the design based on your input. Typically, I include up to two rounds of revisions as part of the project. If, after the second revision, you're expectations still aren’t satisfied, additional costs may apply for further changes. At this stage, it most likely indicates that my design style might not align with your project needs. If that happens, it’s important to have an open conversation about whether my approach fits your vision.
